PDO Thread Body

Achieve a firmer, more contoured body with our  PDO THREAD

If you’re bothered by loose, sagging skin on your body, a PDO thread lift may be an excellent option to consider. Consult with a qualified aesthetic provider to see if this treatment could help you achieve your body contouring goals.

OUR SERVICES

Body Lifting

with Mono PDO Threads & Cog Threads

As we age, our skin can start to lose elasticity and sag, leading to unwanted drooping or laxity in areas like the arms, abdomen, thighs, and buttocks. Fortunately, minimally invasive thread lift procedures offer a solution to help restore a more youthful, toned appearance to the body.

The specific type of PDO threads used (e.g. mono threads, cog threads, screw threads) can be tailored to the treatment area and desired lifting/contouring effect. For example, cog threads are often used on larger, more lax areas like the abdomen, while mono threads may be better suited for smaller, more delicate areas like the face.

The versatility of PDO threads allows aesthetic providers to customize the treatment plan to address each patient’s unique concerns and goals. This minimally invasive approach can provide a natural-looking improvement in skin laxity and body contours without the need for extensive surgery.

    OUR SERVICES

Mono PDO Threads , Screw and Cog Threads are tree types of thread lift techniques that can be used for body contouring and lifting:

    Mono PDO Threads

Mono PDO threads are made of polydioxanone (PDO), a biocompatible and biodegradable material. These straight, single-barbed threads are inserted under the skin to provide an immediate lifting effect by physically pulling and tightening the tissue. Over time, the threads also stimulate the body’s natural production of collagen for continued skin tightening and smoothing.

    Cog Threads

Cog threads are also made of PDO, but have bidirectional barbs along the length of the thread. These barbs allow the thread to grip the tissue more securely, providing a stronger lifting and contouring effect. Cog threads are often used in areas that require more lifting power, such as the abdomen, thighs, and buttocks.

During the procedure, the provider will numb the treatment area and then strategically insert the PDO threads under the skin. The threads work to lift, tighten, and smooth the skin, creating a more youthful, toned appearance. Patients typically see results immediately that continue to improve over the next several months as collagen production increases.
