What is involved in the treatment?
HydraFacial includes a double antioxidant cleanse to remove any surface debris such as makeup and sunscreen, followed with a hydra cleanse using a gentle plant based lactic acid with adjustable vacuum suction to remove any remaining build up from the skin and prepares your skin for better absorption of active ingredients. The following HydraFacial, extraction and infusion steps are based on your skin condition and concerns.

What are the different types if infusions?
We offer three types of HydraFacial infusions:
Sensitive Treatment
Skin Condition: Sensitive, dehydrated or new to active skin treatments
Includes calming and hydrating actives of aloe vera, cucumber & green tea with a gentle plant based lactic acid to ensure an effective yet gentle renewal of the skin.
Vitamin Treatment
Skin Condition: Mature, dry & sun damaged.
Includes anti-ageing and moisture boosting actives of quercetin vitamin C & E with a combination of AHA’s to even out skin tone, brighten imperfections and smooth out fine lines & wrinkles.
Oxygenating Treatment
Skin Condition: Dull, dehydrated or uneven
Includes brightening and hydration actives of bearberry, liquorice root, sodium hyaluronate and AHA’s to stimulate and brighten while delivering an intensive hydration boost.
Do I need to avoid anything after the treatment?
Refrain from washing your face for up to 6 hours to ensure thorough product absorption & longer-lasting results. Avoid using any skin care containing exfoliating acids such as glycolic, lactic, mandelic and salicylic. Retinoids, benzoyl peroxide, scrubs and cleansing brushes should also be avoided for at least 48 hours.
A gentle cleanser, moisturiser and SPF are all that is needed on the skin for the first 2-3 days, then you will be able to re-introduce your actives into your routine.
Are there any contra-indications for the treatment?
Individuals with certain medical conditions or skin disorders should consult with their healthcare professional before undergoing a HydraFacial treatment. Conditions such as rosacea, eczema, dermatitis require special attention or modifications to the treatment to prevent any adverse reactions, so always make sure to always inform your therapist if such conditions are present. Clients with sunburn, active cold sores or open skin lesions must refrain from having the treatment until skin is fully healed.
